Update 10.45 am: The method is not working now as the link has expired. We will keep you updated regarding the latest happenings as an when they occur.
Update 1:15 pm: Candidates are now receiving a SMS from the official CAT shortcode containing the overall percentile. The percentile is the same as the one previously checked using the source code method. In case you haven’t seen your percentile yet, check your phone to see if you have received the message.
Note: There has been no official announcement of the CAT 2015 result so far (at least when this was first published at 7 in the morning). However, with a simple tweak, you can view your scaled score and percentiles. We are sure that the official result will be out in a few hours but the enthusiastic ones can check it out now. Again, we take no responsibility for any errors that might occur and this is something we found amiss in the website and so, thought would calm a few nerves.
Step 1: Go to http://iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Login as existing user:
Step 3: Right click on the page and click on “View Source”
Step 4: Do a Ctrl+F and search for ‘Percentile’
Step 5: You should get 12 results. The first 3 are for Verbal ability, the next 3 are for Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, the next 3 for Quantitative Ability and the last 3 are for the overall percentile.
All the best!
