IIM Lucknow

Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has come out with its official selection criteria for the batch of 2016-18 on its website.  There are a few changes made to it compared to the last couple of years but nothing is drastically controversial.

The changes made this year are:

1) Increase in the NC-OBC overall cutoffs from 80 percentile to 82 percentile for application to the PGP. The sectional cutoffs remain the same. There have been changes made to the ABM/SM cutoffs too compared to last year that can be

2) Class 10th marks would not be considered. The weight given to 12th standard marks has been doubled to compensate for this

3) For candidates applying to the ABM programme, the diversity factor on the basis of academic discipline has been increased from 5 points out of 50 to 13 points out of 50

4) The GD has been done away with and there will only be a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI)

The overall process remains the same with there being an initial shortlist followed by a WAT/PI process and then the final shortlist.

Shortlisting for the WAT and PI would be done by taking into consideration a shortlist total calculated on the basis of the overall CAT score, 12th standard marks, graduation marks, work experience, diversity factor in terms of academic discipline and diversity factor in terms of gender.

You can read the detailed calculation process that would be followed on the official link.
