NMAT 2015 notification has been released. For the first time after becoming a CBT (Computer Based Test) in 2009, NMAT will be conducted by GMAC™, the organization that owns the GMAT® exam. In addition to NMIMS, the NMAT exam scores will be used for admissions by the following business schools:
Alliance University, Bangalore; Amity University, Delhi NCR; Ansal University, Delhi NCR; ICFAI University; Mody University, Rajasthan; Munjal University, Delhi; Shoolini University, Chandigarh; SRM University, Chennai; Thapar University, Chandigarh; VIT University, Vellore; Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad.
Key features:
– Option to write the test multiple times (3 attempts in one admission cycle)
– No negative marking
– Scheduling convenience: Candidates can choose a date, time and location of their convenience
– 75 day test window (October-December)
– Candidates have a choice of selecting the order/sequence of the test sections.
– The three sections of the NMAT are individually timed.
– Scaled scores and percentile: Range of scores in each of the sections will be – Quantitative Skills (0-144); Language Skills (0-96); Logical Reasoning skills (0-120); Total 0-360
NMAT structure:
The NMAT exam has three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. Test takers must review their answers before moving to another section of the exam, as once the candidate closes out of a section, all answers are final.
Language Skills – 32 questions to be attempted in 22 minutes
Quantitative Skills – 48 questions to be attempted in 60 minutes
Logical Reasoning – 40 questions to be attempted in 38 minutes
Total – 120 questions to be attempted in 120 minutes

Scheduling: Begins on July 03, 2015 and ends on October 22, 2015
Late Registration: Begins on October 06, 2015 and ends on October 19, 2015
Rescheduling: Begins on July 03, 2015 and ends on December 16, 2015
Exam Delivery: Begins on October 06, 2015 and ends on December 19, 2015
Retake Scheduling: Begins on October 06, 2015 and ends on December 18, 2015
Final Announcement of Results: January 15, 2016
